# Terms of use — S. HIADSI / Quantum ESPRESSO interfaces

## What you may do (free of charge)

1. **Download** the interfaces from this website.
2. **Install and use** them for scientific research and teaching.
3. **Produce results** with these tools (input files, calculations, figures, data).
4. **Cite** this work in publications and theses  
   (credit: Prof. S. HIADSI, LMESM / USTO-MB, Oran, Algeria — QE interfaces).

## What you may not do without collaboration

1. **Modify the source code** of the interfaces (HTML, JavaScript, Python, scripts, or configuration).
2. **Redistribute a modified version** under another name or as your own work.
3. **Remove** author credits, logos, or copyright notices.
4. **Include** the code in another commercial or public software product without written agreement.

## Technical protection

Each interface checks code integrity when it starts (`./DEMARRER.sh`).
If the code has been changed without authorization, startup is refused.

- **Use**: `./DEMARRER.sh` (free)
- **Modify** (author / collaboration): `./DEVERROUILLER-MODIFICATION.sh`, then `./VERROUILLER.sh`

## Collaboration

Any improvement, bug fix, or further development of the interface content must be done
**in collaboration with Prof. S. HIADSI** (LMESM / USTO-MB).
Contact the author if you wish to contribute.

## Technical note

These terms define permitted use and intellectual property.
They are not a perfect technical lock after the files have been downloaded:
compliance relies on scientific ethics and copyright law.
